Cooperation with Royal A-ware in Belgium to calculate footprint milk

Jef Aernouts

We are proud to announce a new commercial partnership with Royal A-ware in Belgium. From November 2024, Royal A-ware will deploy our specialized software Farmdesk Climate to help dairy farmers calculate their carbon footprint.

A conscious choice

Royal A-ware chose Farmdesk in Belgium because of its ease of use for dairy farmers. The one-time onboarding takes only an hour, and thanks to automatic data links, most of the required data is read in immediately.

With the application, dairy farmers have constant insight into their carbon footprint and, if desired, also into their technical-economic performance. Through the user-friendly smartphone app, they can easily enter updates and use them, for example, during the daily loading of the feed mixer truck.

Important to note: data is never shared with third parties without the express consent of the dairy farmer.

About Royal A-ware

Dutch dairy producer Royal A-ware has been active in the Belgian market for several years.

Royal A-ware aims to achieve a completely emission-free dairy chain by 2050. The goal is to reduce on-farm greenhouse gas emissions by 30 percent by 2030. For Royal A-ware, the starting point for making the dairy chain more sustainable is continued benefit for all links: dairy farmers must be able to continue to farm and customers continue to choose A-ware's dairy products with the highest possible nutritional value and the lowest possible impact on people, animals and the environment.
